FEAR is accepting admissions between the dates June 1st - October 1st. This fest will be opened to international entries in an attempt to bring outside interests into reviving the film and animation industry in New Orleans.


All entries are subject to approval and must contain cast and crew information. All entries must involve effects or animation work and be properly credited. Effects can be practical or CG, or sound effects, but must be credited. All entries must be on DVD NTSC format. All entries must be able to be played on a tabletop DVD player.


Entries will be divided into High School, Amateur, and Professional levels. Each level will have four categories: Visual Effects, Practical, Sound Design, and Animation.


Submissions are $25 for Amateur and Professional pieces and $15 for High School pieces. $5 of each submission will go towards a grant for film making to the top high school submissions. Please make checks payable to: Lucid SFX Development.
