CrueFest Chicago is a music benefit to raise funds for Nikki Sixxs Running Wild in the Night Foundation, Vince Neils Skylar Neil Memorial Fund ,Tommy Lee's Charity of choice St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Mick Mars's charity Spondylitis Association of America Event sponsors donate money and merchandise while the bands donate their talent. The highlight of CrueFest Chicago is the opportunity for Motley Crue fans to get together and raise money for the charities. The benefit features the bands as well as free merchandise, auctions and raffles.

All of the proceeds from CrueFest Chicago will be donated to The Skylar Neil Memorial Fund and The Running Wild in the Night Foundation. The Skylar Neil Memorial Fund was founded by Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil in honor of his daughter Skylar who died at age 4 from cancer in 1995. The Skylar Neil Memorial Fund donates exclusively to the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer, and AIDS Research. Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx founded The Running Wild in the Night Foundation, which is dedicated to raising funds for Covenant House. Covenant House is the largest privately-funded childcare agency in the United States providing shelter and service to homeless and runaway youth. Drummer Tommy Lee's charity St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility anywhere. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Mick Mars's charity Spondylitis Association of America's mission is to be a leader in the quest to cure ankylosing spondylitis and related diseases, and to empower those affected to live life to the fullest.
