I'm obviously a music lover. I love going to concerts, plays, theater, anything in the arts.
I'm into fitness in the sense that I'm trying to work out more, eat healthier, that kind of thing.
I love the water, swimming, boating, the beach.
I love motorcycles (can't ride worth a damn, but make a great "bitch-on-the-back" LOL).
I love the Quarter on a Sunday afternoon, when the musicians and street performers are out in force.
I love walking through Audubon Park, or marveling at the Antebellum Homes of the Garden District.
I love books and reading. Poetry slams can actually be fun!
I have a strong curiousity for the Paranormal, you know, things that go bump in the night. It was this curiousity that brought me to New Orleans.
I have studied tarot, and researched hauntings and the like. I guess you'd say anything that awakens my intectually curiosity is
going to interest me.

My all-time favorite? Probably "GONE WITH THE WIND"
I also loved the Godfather Series, SCARFACE, ( the Al Pacino version),Goodfellas. Yes, I guess I'm hooked on gangster dramas.
I loved Mel Gibson's Passion Of The Christ. ( I found it disturbing, yes, but hauntingly beautiful in it's courage, and honesty).
I love Monty Python, and Mel Brooks, and Steve Martin, who I think were and are comedic geniuses.
I really like Johnny Depp, particulary as Edward Scissorhands, and in Sleepy Hollow.
I love the quirky genius of Tim Burton.
Anything with Jack Nicholson in it.
I could go on all night, but I think this list gives you the general drift of what I enjoy in film.

The Entire Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles, as well as THE WITCHING HOUR, and Lasher. Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Anything by Mitchener. ( just finished re-reading "Carribean", an amazing history lesson).

I enjoy a good crime novel, or historical fiction, or a good "women"s story
like the YAYA Sisterhood.

The Headline I chose is taken from a caligraphy created for me when I turned 40 by my then best girlfriend, Reeve.
I think it pretty much sums up my philosophy on life. It goes like this:
"I want to be an Outrageous Older Woman,
Who never gets called, Old Lady.
I want to get leaner and meaner,
Sharp-edged and Earth-toned,
Till I fade away, from pure Joy."
I have always marched to the beat of a different drummer. Oh, I've tried to conform to societal "norms" for a woman of my age, but I just can't, ( or maybe won't), do it! LOL.
I still love a good rock concert, and will continue to rock out as long as I can propel myself into a concert hall.
Music and Promotion are the things that give me the most joy. (Besides my musician daughter that is).
I'm 53 years old, but told I look much younger.
Particularly now that I've lost weight. (new pics to come).
I've been divorced for more than 11 years now, and have a beautiful, 25 year old daughter who I see often, but does not live with me.
I share my home with a chow/lab mixed dog, named Manson. I am a Financial Services Rep by day. ( It pays the bills, sort of). But it's my production/promotion company: NERVE DEAF PRODUCTIONS: www.4nervedeaf.com, that satisfies my creative urges, and makes me want to spring out of bed in the morning.
Dedicated to fostering local art, music, and performance in the Alternative vein, I and my partner's produce events that we periodically put on around the city.
Although raised in the Northeast, I've lived in the south since age 23, and I consider myself a Southerner. ( despite the "yankee" accent I can't get rid of).
New Orleans was my adopted home for 7 1/2 years n and I will always love it.
I love the architecture, the history, the ambience. Post Katrina economics have forced me to relocate. I'm now in Cincinnati, Ohio, a beautiful place, and just across the river from my daughter, but it will never take the place of New Orleans. I will come home to stay some day.
